Charging of Electric Cars
There are 2 options for charging electric cars:
Option 1: Low current charging directly at our house
We offer the possibility to use the dedicated 230V socket in the laundry room to charge an electric car with a suitable adapter explicitly limiting the charging current to 10 Amps / 2.4 kV. It is essential to use a limited charger of 10 Amps to not cause damage to the electrical system of the house. Do not use a 16 Amps charger! Only one vehicle can be charged at a time. The tenant is required to bring a suitable charging adapter (limited to 10 Amps) along including suitable extension cable if needed (distance between socket through the open window of the laundry room to the parking lot is approximately 4 meters). The tenant is liable for any damage caused by using the socket to charge the an electric car. No other sockets are to be used to charge a car. Please inform us if you are using this possibility because if there is sufficient interest, then we will be installing a high current charging connection in the near future.
We appreciate if you contribute towards the electricity used to charge your car. Estimate how many kilowatts you have charged and multiply it with 0.30 Euro per kilowatt. You can easily pay your contribution for the electricity used to our Paypal account following this link and choose send:

Thank you very much!
Option 2: 22 kV Charging at the charging station in the village
In the center of the village (600 meters walking distance, 8 minutes to walk) there is a public charging station with two 22kV charging connectors Type 2. Further details here: EnBW Charging Station, Auf dem Platz 14, Tuningen
